Help shape Alaska’s energy policy! Tell AEA the best way to power Alaska! The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) is holding a series of Energy Plan Town Hall Meetings across the state. AEA is most interested in hearing how to address rising energy prices across the state.

While Alaska is blessed with incredible renewable energy resources, we also posses roughly half the nation’s coal. But coal will take us backwards to more greenhouse gases, more mercury in our fish and more habitat destruction. And once we lock into coal, it will be generations before we get out. So make the time to tell AEA that coal should NOT be part of Alaska’s energy portfolio. Anchorage: June 4 (time and location to be announced)
